Guided nature walk from Visby

Galgberget - Visbys closest nature reserve

Fantastic natural areas just around the corner. We explore Visbys closest nature reserve, Galgberget (the gallow mountain) with its many nature types and characteristics.

Caves give us the opportunity to tell you about the Gotland origin in a prehistoric tropical coral reef and depending on the timing of your tour we discover an abundance of plants, birds and mammals. Apart from many of the 50 species of birds in the reserve we sometimes get aquainted with our wild rabbits and the Red Squirrel.

There is also room for our rich cultural heritage, during the walk we will also get to know medieval ruins, execution sites, princesses and ghosts. The tour finishes with a great view over Visby.
